For immediate release: August 26, 2026 - 11:04 am
TC26-12315

Saskatoon Transit will introduce fall service changes across the transit network beginning Sunday, August 30, 2026. The changes coincide with the return to school and post-secondary classes and are part of Saskatoon Transit's regular seasonal service review process to respond to customer travel patterns and operational needs.

The fall service changes are designed to match service with changing travel demand, improve reliability and on-time performance, restore school-year service levels and add capacity where ridership is expected to increase.

Riders will benefit from:

  • Additional frequency and capacity on busy routes and travel corridors, including Routes 2, 8, 17, 50, 55 and 60.
  • Restored school-year and peak-period service on Routes 61, 63, 65, 83, high school routes, 529 and 543.
  • Improved reliability and schedule performance on Routes 8, 50 and 55.
  • Service adjustments that support growing demand from students, commuters and other transit users, including routing changes on Routes 16 and 17 near the University of Saskatchewan.

Reminder for Transit customers
