City Council approved a new Saskatoon Transit Bylaw at its Regular Meeting on July 29, 2026, that establishes a single framework covering fare payment, customer conduct, transit property and enforcement. The bylaw supports a safer, cleaner and more comfortable transit experience for riders and employees, beginning September 1, 2026.

Saskatoon Transit has partnered with the Saskatoon EX to provide FREE Transit service to Prairieland Park for SuperPass holders from July 30 to August 6.
Saskatoon Transit will have fare adjustments in 2026 and 2027. The first of two non-uniform fare adjustments will take effect July 1, 2026. These changes support ongoing transit services, help address rising costs, and maintain the affordability of equity-based fare products.
The following changes are now in effect. Riders can expect more route adjustments during our regular schedule changes in Fall, Winter and Spring.
Starting May 8, Saskatoon Transit will make additional temporary service adjustments to Routes 16, 17, 4/40s and 517 as construction along College Drive and into downtown progresses to Stage 1B of the project. Riders can expect some delays during construction.
