Ride free into the New Year with Saskatoon Transit
Saskatoon Transit will offer free evening bus service on New Year’s Eve to help everyone get where they need to go safely.
Free fare service will be available on Wednesday, December 31, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., with times varying slightly by route. Registered Access Transit customers can also reserve free service until 2:30 a.m.
On busy nights like New Year’s Eve, riders are encouraged to plan ahead. Trip-planning apps will not be available after regular service hours, so customers should check schedules, review route maps, and save trip details earlier in the day using the Transit App or Google Maps Transit. Routes will continue operating at their scheduled frequency until approximately 3 a.m.
Use Transit+ to find the quickest route to your destination. Multi-modal options help cut wait times and costs, making it easy for riders to combine trips with Riide or Uber.
Celebrate responsibly with a safer, simpler ride without the fare or stress.
