2026 Student Art Contest

Your Next Masterpiece Could Be On Transit!

Calling all Grade 3 and Grade 7 students! Saskatoon Transit’s 7th Student Art Contest is your chance to showcase your creativity and have your artwork displayed on a Saskatoon Transit bus.

Two winning pieces will be showcased as bus artwork on 10 buses throughout the summer.

Contest Theme: Active Transportation & Integrated Mobility
Think about all the ways people move around Saskatoon and how they connect together. Your artwork could feature buses, walking, cycling, scooters, accessibility, and inclusion.


How to Participate

Eligibility
  • Aimed at Grade 3 and Grade 7 students 
  • Entries may be submitted individually, as a group, or as a full class project 
Artwork Requirements
  • Artwork size must be 139” x 30”, or 51” x 11” (created using six 8.5” x 11” sheets taped together portrait side-by-side) 
  • Artwork may include pencil crayons, crayons, markers, paint, other flat art materials 
  • Artwork must be 2D, no 3D elements, incorporate colour and avoid offensive images, language, or commercial slogans 
Information to Include

On the back of the artwork, please include the student’s name, grade, and school.

Submission Details

All artwork must be submitted to teachers by 3:00 p.m. on May 27, 2026.

Additional Information
  • Artwork will not be returned 
  • Copyright remains with the artist 
  • Saskatoon Transit and the City of Saskatoon retain the right to use submitted artwork images for promotional purposes
